Bouquets
As the most photographed piece of the day, the bride’s bouquet is where all the florals converge. The colors and varieties of blooms used in all the other florals will be in the bridal bouquet. It is our “chef’s kiss” and where we put the most effort, thought, time, and -yes- often, pressure. We want the bride to fall in love at first sight, and indeed, it feels like we have birthed a beautiful masterpiece. Handing the bouquet off to the bride is a moment full of emotion for us ; we feel at once nervous, proud, relieved… Honestly, it can be like handing off our baby! It’s not unusual for us to be offering instructions even as we’re walking out the door. “Don’t forget, she needs to be in water as much as possible - she has a long night ahead of her. And don’t be too rough with her…and don’t let her stems show in the photos…hold her high, at the hips…”
